  1. In his book, The Wretched of the Earth, Frantz Fanonn described what he called Colonial Psychosis. He said, that the huge gap between colonial powers and colonized people spawned a kind of psychosis in which people went out and committed senseless acts of mass violence. When this first appeared in the US, we called it “Going Postal,” but it has all the earmarks of Fanon’s Colonial Psychosis. Why? The gap between power and people is abysmal and filled with despair, and it amounts to self-colonization.
